Rainbow Names

Last week we used different words to create a rainbow name for each one of us.
We brainstormed many words and matched them with  the letters in our names. It was tricky at first but we kept on going and showed resilience all the way to the end.
Well done, Room 10.

Thank you for being a handy helper today Stella. Fantastic to see you joining in and helping others.

Technplogy Design

Today was very exciting.
We planned and designed our costumes / instruments for our Fashion Show.
Here are a few examples of what we have been designing.

Pete the Cat by Eric Litwin

Pete the cat is rocking in his school shoes. He loves coming to school and if his mum asks him, " How was your day at school?" Pete says..... I was rocking in my school shoes!

We have been learning about verbs and what they mean.

I love Pete the cat because he is very friendly and he loves playing in his school shoes.

Technology Ignition Day

As part of our Technology focus this term, the Kiwi team has booked Finn Mackesy from the Auckland Council.
He will be coming to join us on the 11th of March. Students will have the opportunity to explore concepts of "reducing", "reusing", and "recycling".
We will have hands on activities to help students understanding the concepts and exploring ways that sustainability will assist them with  their final technology products.
