School Memory Wall

A big "thank you" to the parents that came to help with the ceramic tiles last week. The students loved making the tiles and can't wait to see the end result.

To Miss Harland

Dear Miss Harland

We are super excited writing you this letter.

We had so many ideas but had a good think of what is important for learning at Reremoana School. Macie, Tayla and Yandri would like an ipad for each Room 10 student. Why?..... because we can sit at our desks on the floor to do our school work. Xavier, Cody and Jade would love more headphones, for each computer in the class- like in the library. This will help us to concentrate and not get distracted.
Thank you for listening to our requests, Miss Harland.

Have a great day,
Room 10 students

New Beginnings - Koru Art

This term we have been learning about plants and what they
need to grow. We also looked at the parts of
a plant and their functions.
Here we are drawing a koru that represents new life.

The koru is the Maori name given to the new unfurling fern frond and symbolizes new life, growth, strength and peace.
It is an integral symbol in Maori carving.
