Learning about diversity!

We started the term by having conversations about the countries we are from and this led us asking many questions.
The students are very interested to know more about the different countries, where they are in the world and how the people live in those countries.

Here are a few photos from our first introduction to the countries we are from.

Having a hangi in New Zealand.

In Spain we love Tortilla with cheese

In South Africa we love eating pap and wors.
Home made sausage rolls from the heart of Invercargill.

Here are a few photos of the countries we
represent in Room 10. The students were so super proud to talk about their countries. We enjoyed listening to and learning some interesting facts.
Thank you for supporting your children with this task.

Act Safley in Room 10

We have been using role play
to remind us how to
Act Safely in class.
  1.   Use the class equipment with care.
Be careful!
This is being safe!
 2.  Help a friend in need.
